Hello everybody! It is week #2 of Curl Bootcamp! Dare I say it, but I think I'm semi-getting used to this 'video' thing. My general goal is to put out a video to you all once a week and, so far, Saturday seems to be the magic day. I hope you have all had a great week 'beachy waving' your hair, but get ready! We are on to bigger & better things!
This week in Kansas, Mother Nature sent us blizzard #3 for the year. Let me tell ya, I love white, untouched snow as much as anyone, but I found myself craving some sun! That's why I figured 'rope curls' would be a perfect subject this week. Tousled waves that go perfectly with sun & a tan & a cold drink. (I will just pretend for today while I type in front of my space heater.)
While still a member of the 'beachy wave' family, the rope curl is a completely different look than the more rounded waves of last week. Rope curls create that effortless 'textured tousled' hair that is completely put together, but also looks like you could've rolled out of bed with some seriously cute bedhead. These curls create a super soft look even while using a smaller barrel(I use our USmooth 1" Styling Barrel) and transition great into day two, day three hair styles with easy touch ups. Even with a soft, tousled look these curls will last all day long.
